Digital Mobilty
The Digital Mobility portfolio provides call control for the Digital Mobility Handsets to the Norstar or Business Communications Manager main unit and operating Digital Mobility Basestations.

Digital Mobility Controllers
The Digital Mobility Controller is the heart of the Digital Mobility portfolio and provides call control to the Norstar or Business Communications Manager main unit and operating Digital Mobility Basestations. The Digital Mobility Controller (DMC) is available in two models, DMC 08x and 32x.

The DMC 08x supports up to 8 handsets and 2 basestations. Two DMC 08x models can be linked together to support up to 16 handsets and 4 basestations.
The DMC 32x supports 32 handsets and 8 basestations. Two DMC 32x models can be linked together to support up to 64 handsets and 16 basestations.
Key Features:
Easy installation - Operate through a wired standard twisted pair of cables (CAT-5 wiring is recommended). Only one pair is required and the cable length may be up to 1,500 meters (5000 feet).
Modular, scalable design - Any two Digital Mobility Controllers may be connected together to increase capacity to a maximum of 64 Handsets and 16 Basestations

Digital Mobility Basestation
The Digital Mobility Basestation acts as the "ears" of the Digital Mobility portfolio. It controls the traffic channels in the air and works as a link between the Digital Mobility Handset and the Digital Mobility Controller. The Digital Mobility Controller operates the Basestations through a wired standard twisted pair of cables. Only one pair is required per Basestation and the cable length may be up to 1,500 meters or 4,921 feet.

Key Features:
Extensive coverage with crystal clear quality with four simultaneous voice channels
Fast and easy installation with one wired twisted pair of cables connected to the Digital Mobility Controller
Powered from the Digital Mobility Controller directly so no external power required

Digital Mobility Repeater
The Digital Mobility Repeater is a building block to be used to extend the coverage area in a Digital Mobility solution. The Repeater does not increase the number of traffic channels, but provides a larger physical spreading of the traffic channels and thereby increases the coverage area established with the Digital Mobility Basestations. The Repeater extends the coverage of the Digital Mobility Basestation by 50 percent. Repeaters are mainly used in areas with limited traffic.

Key Features:
Provides extensive, high quality coverage
Fast and easy to install
Lightweight, compact design

Digital Mobility External Antenna
The Digital Mobility External Antenna is used in conjunction with a repeater to set up new coverage zones up to 1 km away, making coverage possible in a remote area without cabling to the rest of the installation. Ideal for businesses encompassing more than one building to still maintain coverage in all areas such as hotels, multi-site manufacturing facilities, universities, warehouses, any any other campus-type environments.

Key Features:
Fast and easy installation — Mounts up to four feed from the Digital Mobility Repeater
No external power required — Powered from the Digital Mobility Repeater directly
Provides extensive coverage
Lightweight, compact design
